Tim Allen from Home Improvement fame, stars as a divorced father whose son Charlie would rather be spending the night with his mother and stepfather, but instead is spending Christmas Eve with Dad. Late that night there is a strange noise coming from outside the house. When father and son go outside to investigate they find that Santa is up on the roof. Maybe he is startled, but for whatever reason he falls off the roof, and dies.
