One moment can change your life forever. . .
José is involved in a tragic accident that derailed his brilliant soccer career just as he was about to sign a $2 million contract. His career over, he now works as a chef in his brother Manny's restaurant. When a beautiful waitress gets fired, he quits in an act of solidarity and sets out to help her through a tragic situation of her own. We soon learn that he is also helping himself, as this seems like possibly a form of atonement for him.
This really is a completely different movie than any other you will ever see. The story is so unique and unforgettable that I am not surprised it won so many awards. Just take a look at a few:

I really liked Bella, and think it is a tale that will touch everyone. Not for young children, as the story will be lost on them, it is perfect for teens and parents to enjoy together and it will leave you with much to discuss at the dinner table.
